Reply:As an aside, I've got a Black and Decker drill. Had it for 25 years - since I was a teenager. I'm not a tradie, but I've used it ALOT. Just last Saturday I was using it to drill 12mm holes in a concrete slab. A fe weeks ago I was using it to drill 10mm holes in some structural steel. Hardly a week goes by when it isn't used to drill something around the place. I'm amazed that it still works. And that I still have the original chuck key.Yeah, I carry.House keys, wallet, some change, usually a newspaper, maybe a pen.

Reply:In OZ i think Stanley owned Sidchrome Tools which changed some time ago to Sidchrome Proto Tools. They have since changed again and not for the better.I only now buy Snap-On or Starwhillie unless i need to make a modified tool ( bent, welded, twisted, add ons, etc ), then its almost anything.
