I just ordered a miller 180 mig and I have a ton of 2 inch square tubing I'm looking for a project to build any suggestions
Reply:welding table? or welder cart...
Reply:How about a trailer or trailer hitch?
Reply:I have built a trailer and a couple of bed extenders. Does anyone have metal brake plans or other useful shop tools
Reply:Welding table, workbench, cart for the welder, rack to hold 2" tubing, yard cart, atv trailer. Those are just a few of the top of my head. If I had a big supply of 2" tubing it would be a bad deal...Thermal Arc 252iHobart StickmateIf you aint burn'n you aint learn'n.

Reply:Yes, the thickness of the material will help ideas. 2" is a nice size for lots of things depending on the thickness.

Reply:How much square tubing are we talking? Someone asked about the thickness...what thickness? If its .065, make a small table on casters. Easy to move around, slap a 3/8 top on it. I've got one with, probably 50x30, built to the same height as my fixed table. I put them together for form an L when necessary. If you've got .120 wall tubing, do as a log have suggested, and make yourself a welding table. 2x2x.120 can hold a lot of weight.-AaronJet 17.5" Drill Press1942 South Bend 16x84 Lathe1980s Miller 320A / BP --- 2013 Power Mig 2562012 Jet 7x12 Horizontal BandsawVictor O/A Setup

Reply:welder arrived Thursday I'm glad I held out for the miller and much cleaner than stick. The square tubing is .065 wall. I'm about 90 % done the cart I'll post pics when I figure out how. This web site is great it has helped me a lot thanks.
