For many years the Symphony uses the chorus risers and lighting a drop behind them has been a PIA...The hand rails in the past were held on by C clamps ( which I hated to look at it ). In turn , It also covered up the squarehole... We would zip screw 2 x 4's under the deck to hold the lights....Anyway , I made this gizmo as a proto type and showed the boss man... He liked it and said make me a dozen of them...slide it in, put the 2 x6's on , and vawaa-laah ... it is done !!! It serves two purposes... holds the lights and a sturdy and safe way to hold the hand rails !!! Attached ImagesThere is never enough time to do it right ; But plenty of time to do it over .
