I have a Miller Maxstar 200 Sd that I need an Aircooled TIg torch for. I was thinking about a 17 series flex head with the 25 foot cable. What I am confused about is the hookup as far as a 1 or 2 piece cable. I have seen an adapter for the 50 series Dinse with a gas connector, which I believe goes to the front fitting on the machine. How would the cable and hose hookup to this?
Reply:The torch just screws into the Dinse connector. The dinse connector should already have the gas line attached to it. I have a CK17-FX aircooled flex torch and I love it. the cable is one piece as the gas cools the power cable inside. So far the torch itself it has held up much longer than the weldcraft or weldtec torch. I have not ordered the superflex cable yet as the stock one is doing ok.Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.
Reply:One thing I forgot to ask is what is used to start the gasflow with the contacter.
