looking for my first welder

I have shopped craigslist locally and come up with 2 options.  Will look at both units Friday and will come home with one!Clark EN130 Mig Welder is the first options and seems to be the best deal, because it comes with all the accessories.  Is this a good brand?  Good begnner model?  He wants 350.00Lincoln SP-170T Welder Mig Welding Machine is the second choice.  Seems like a good deal, but does not come with as much stuff.  Mig gun and reg. That is it. He wants 425.00opinions welcome.  One brand better, more reliable than the other?One better suited for beginner?120 vs. 220 not an issue for me, though, so interested in input based on other aspects of the machine.Thanks

Reply:I would MUCH prefer the lincoln. If you can, try out the machines. If you are not yet a welder get one to go with you and have him(her) do some welding , to make sure they (it) still welds good . Don't buy on a promise , if you don't know the seller.[SIZE="5"Yardbird"

Reply:Fyi... I just picked up a Lincoln 180c with a filled 75/25 80c.f. bottle for $800.00... My first welder but I knew I would want a 220v machine!!! Check your local welding supply. mine was new but had some scuffs and a small dent. They let me check it out before I left... Nothing wrong with it and I still have a 3 year warranty.
