Does Airgas allow you to load welding cylinders into an SUV?Miller Dialarc 250 AC/DCWeldcraft A-150VSmith O/P

Reply:Some places will not exchange the cylinder if it's inside of a vehicle.

Reply:I've driven up to their loading area with a cylinder in the passenger seat of my car. They didn't say a thing. Of course it was wearing it's seat belt.

Reply:Some suppliers will wheel out to you. What you do with it they don't care. When YOU load it you are responsible if they load it THEY could be held responsible. AIR GAS just wants the money.

Reply:Typically there are liability issues that prevent their delivery trucks to enter subdivisions, I was not able to find anybody locally that would deliver to a residential address.My local Airgas will allow YOU to load bottles inside of your vehicle, but THEY will not help you load a bottle inside of a vehicle. I have exchanged inert gas tanks with them a few times with my hatchback, and that is sketchy enough as is (multiple straps, behind passenger seat, valves facing front of vehicle). I am not sure that I would make it home without an anxiety attack hauling an oxidizer or flammable gas.This was strictly out of necessity and I recently picked up a trailer that I'll be building a rack for and will stop this baboonery of hauling tanks inside of my vehicle, but for what it's worth, that's the lowdown for my area.-Niche

Most likely to a commercial or industrial business but I highly doubt they would deliver to a residence and even if they will I suspect the delivery charge will make you want to pick it up.
