just sold my syncrowave200 looking at the miller dynasty200dx and the thermal arc186 for aluminum any thought would be greatly appreciated

Reply:I like the Thermal interface, and don't really care for the Dynasty setup. I have had many Thermal-arc machines, and it's second nature to me. Fan is not a issue for me, because of all the Esab's I have owned. Kind of blends into the cool-mate one pretty nice.. Foot pedal took work to get to function correctly, and that was huge how the machine works..Double switches can be problematic, and I don't weld with the machine in the preview mode. Reply:I've had a Dynasty 200, a TA185 and now a TA300. Never tried a 186. Unless you're welding a spaceship, and once you get through playing with the extensive hidden menu of the Dynasty, you'll find the above TA's just as good.
