Today while feeding a run of castings I began wishing I had hanger for my grinder. The grinder is used to smooth the edges after the facing operation and I found it was fastest to do while on the machine. Normally I'd set the grinder on the floor between parts. After picking it up and setting it down a bunch of times I decided to build something. I pulled some quick dimensions and headed to the office before I forgot them. Whipped out a quick design in cad and cut it on the plasma table from some 16 gauge steel. Put the bends in with my toy iroquois style bender. Here's the link if you haven't seen it. http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php...41#post2083041Now that I have it attached to the machine I can't imagine how I've done without it for so many years.
Reply:Nice design! I have two of those in my space at work. One for 7" and one for 5" grinders.
