I'm knew here, just registered today. The one welder in my collection I actually paid money for is an old "Bug" model WNP-200. The manual and parts catalog I have is from April 1970 so I'd say that dates it pretty well. I bought it with a sealed bid when it was taken out of service at the factory I used to work at. It's been five or six years since I got it, sure has been an important tool here around the farm. It's got the 6.0CCK Onan, runs great now that I finally got the points in the throttle control set right. So anybody else have one, how about where can I get parts for it? I'm needing the rubber boot thats between the carb and airfilter, duct tape only last so long! I've got an old Marquette but I've never tried it as I have no electric in the barn it was free and looks to be in good shape, also just recently got a little 110 Century 70 mig also free. I've welded with it but not since it's been mine LOL.Rob H.
Reply:I think I might have found the answer to my question myself, it was marketed by Chemetron Corp. Arc products division. So I looked up Chemetron and no luck there but Arc products looks like the place to contact. It's a good machine, after I got the points set it'll really lay down the weld. I've welded everything from tailpipes to half inch plate for loader frame supports. I've even burnt bolt holes in inch plate when I was out of gas for the torch.Rob H.
Reply:Would a bicycle inner tube work for the thing between the filter and carb?Used to burn holes with the rod too. 6011, crank it up, start in the center, and work your way out. Actually works pretty good."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:Welcome to the forum 48willys. That old welder sounds like a nice unit. Hard to beat some of those older machines. As for that Onan engine, I suggest you try here http://onanparts.com/ for anything you might need. The guy's a member of this forum so he'll prety much know what you're talking about regarding Onan driven welders.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
Reply:Thanks for the replies guys, farmersamm the bicycle inner tube wouldn't work as there's another piece that hooks into it, I'd tried that idea earlier myself LOL. Thanks for the link Duane, I'll check with them later, gotta go to work now.Rob H.

Reply:6011 was what I always used, still do it occasionally if I'm too lazy to drag out the torch. Thanks for the welcome!Rob H.
