This one I got for a whole $40 and it is in good shape. It is a 160 pound monster made by Grinnell sprinkler company of Providence RI. Just the start, more to follow pain in the balls to do this from my phone.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."
Reply:160lbs? Wow, that's one serious vise. Nice find.
Reply:Straightening the main screw, it had a slight bow in it. More cleaning off of 50 years of old grease and paint and I will update the thread.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."

Reply:I envy you steal ;(About 30 years ago I dug three of these new Yoast 32C vises out of a Navy dumpster headed for the land fill...On my way home from work I gave away two of them to my mech head neighbors, but kept this one for myself....I tripped over it for most those years until I final mounted it on a workbench where it gets used daily...It's bullet proof and tuff as an anvil. They still make it where it sells for about $650 to $800 depending on where you shop.I still envy you Toz cause you came by yours honest. Chit I keep trying to post pic of vise and it keeps posting a pic of my rifle....I'll try to figure it out and repost Attached ImagesLast edited by pigeonpoop; 01-19-2014 at 01:05 AM.
