petrogen gasoline torch

I've posted this message on a couple other threads.  I'm new, so I was thinking this may be the more appropriate thread.  I have someone that wants to sell me a petrogen gasoline torch. One is a back pack type and the other is a shop... or standard type.  I don't think I want them for myself... don't really have a use for them.  My question is... do you all think sell-able??  I am thinking of buying them and trying to re-sell them.  I can pick them both up for $200.
Reply:Maybe nobody knows what you're talking about, and maybe nobody cares to waste time just because a newby wants to make some money selling stuff; I flagged these last two threads, 'cause you're cluttering up the site with multiple posts due to simple impatience and self-importance. I don't usually get ticked off, but yours did it to me.
Reply:Maybe you're right Oldiron, no one know's or no one cares.  I've been visiting this site for a long time... and today decided to register...  wouldn't you know it... my first reply was from someone like you.  If no one else has ever been on this site and used it in some form or fashion to make a dollar... then I am sorry... but like I said, I've been visiting this site a long time... The reason I "visited" this sight for a while is to see if it was just another place for people to gripe, complain and gossip.  I thought it wasn't... If this site doesn't want me on... thats not a problem... I will just walk away.... wondering if there are any decent people left.  I was totally amazed at your reply.

Good luck on this torch; try a Google search for some other info on it.And then, after so much work...... you have it in your hand, and you look over to your side...... and the runner has run off. Leaving you holding the prize, wondering when the runner will return.

Reply:Our Ironworker Union bought the Petrogen Torch.  The salesman can get it to do all sorts of wonderful things just like it was a circus act.  Our resident welding instructors tried to stage a demonstration with it and although they followed the video and instructions closely they couldn't get that thing to do chit.Now it sits neglected in a shack out back.I was disappointed in the outcome.  Had to drive 30 miles for the demo and it was a bust.Gordie -- "I believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant."
Reply:Thanks Nitesky,I was going to pass on it but my son - in - law went and bought it anyway.  I did finally find the website for it, looks impressive but, kinda figured you'd have to have some training on it to learn all the tricks.  I have a sneaky feeling its going to end up in the corner of my shop.
