Reply:Here's my opinion on AD helmets, after trying quite a few.Miller classic and digital pro-hobby. Not bad helmets. They work, and you can see.Miller digital elite.Nothing special. They work, and you can see.But nothing special.Jackson Nexgen.I used one about 2 years ago for quite a bunch of mig and stick.I can't remember much about it, except that it was heavy and uncomfortable.Clarity was nothing special.Lincoln viking 3350.Nothing special.Jackson Boss.So far I've only used it with stick, but it's impressed me so far.Arc-one 240t 2"x4.25 drop in.Pretty good.JMO,Just cause I like talking about welding helmets. Just a couple welders, big hammers, grinders, and torches.Work will free you.Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it. Trump/Carson 2016-2024

Reply:It doesn't fill all the specs you want but i've got a jackson Baldur BH3 and I absolutely love it. I came over from a miller elite and the difference is night and day.

Reply:From an FNGs POV, the Jackson BH-3 I picked up for class works very well. Easy to adjust just right, comfy all day, and the large viewing area and interesting blue AD is pretty cool. Full disclosure though, it's also the only Helmet I've ever owned and the only AD helmet I've ever worn... So there's that. |
