I have 2 TIG welders that are on a bench (not mobile) the one has a watercooler the other doesn't. Can a T fitting be bought so that both machines can be set up to use the same watercooler???
Reply:That would probably work fine. Make sure you run them in parallel not series.Welding/Fab Pics: www.UtahWeld.com

Reply:Probably be a good idea to add a valve so you can direct the water all one way or another. While most coolers probably put out enough to feed two torches at the same time I wouldn't want to bet on it. Also one torch may flow better than the other so take up most of the water. Ideally use a diverting three port valve. Like ones that are found on this page.http://www.mcmaster.com/#ball-valves/=pytpqwMillermatic 252XMT 304'sDynasty 280DXHypertherm PowerMax 1250Miller Trailblazer 302 EFIOptima PulserXR feeder and XR Edge gun and more athttp://members.dslextreme.com/users/waynecook/index.htm
Reply:I think i would just use one torch and switch the power lead from on welder to the other.
Reply:What about some sort of quick-disconnect plugs for both the torches and the cooler?KevKevin / Machine_Punk from The Aerodrome Studio - Lincoln PowerMIG 210 MP - Meco N Midget w/custom welding station - Vintage Victor 100Current Projects: The Aerodrome Studio
