Just got another bosch drill to go with my other bosch drill, the newer one is the PS31 and the other one is the PS30.The PS31 has a few more features plus it is so much lighter and compact. The PS 30 that I got is a very nice drill, have had no problems out of it,but when I seen the PS31,I knew I had to have it.Their both 2 speed drills with 20 clutch settings and 12 volt lithium-ion.I put a 1/2" chuck on the PS30 and am just going to leave the PS31 as a 3/8" chuck, you never know when you are going to need a 1/2" chuck sometimes, nice to have a choice in drills I reckon.I just bought the PS31 as a stand alone drill, came with no batteries or charger but I got these when I bought the other one.I got 3 batteries,so I'm alright on batteries for now plus you can charge a pack in 30 minutes.I just wish it had somewhere to store a bit. Reply:I got the screw gun to try out and ended up getting a complete set of these Bosch 10/12v cordless tools. Use them for about 90% of what I do and only pull out the much heavier 18v Dewalts occasionally. The pain that I was developing in my wrists has gone away completely. I wish that they had a mini sawsall like Milwaukee but other then that they have been great.Ken

Reply:I have the ps20 which is the older screw driving one. I am very happy with it but would like that new ps31 and was looking at it. I never got the ps30 cause it was larger then the ps20 but now the new one is about the same size. When I was looking online the battery numbers were different, they obviously work with the same battery though huh? I think I will have to pick one up as they have them at the local lowes store.Millermatic 252Lincoln 175 plusTA 185tswTA 161stlhypertherm pmax 45Victor torchHenrob torchAn S10 for each day of the week |
