Reply:Check out the work of Patrick Farrow He was an artist beginning in the mid 70s. Mia Farrow's brother, Maurine O'Harra?s or O'sullivan?s son. His early work was Oxy/Acetylene, and 1/16" copper coated steel. Little figures like yours sold in the seventies in the $20 range, last I knew they were selling in the thousands. He went on to do larger work often in stainless steel, people very accurately sculpted in many activities including sex. The value of his work skyrocketed! Several years ago he committed suicide. I don't know why, I suspect terminal disease.
Reply:thank you so much for telling me about Farrow. what an inspiration. it's crazy to think that he oxy fueled such amazing work. I hope to achieve just a piece of what he did.
