Power Mig 300

I bought my Power mig 300 almost  two years ago, and for me it is the best overall machine on the market so far.I bought this machine with a dual cylinder rack and a python gun from MK technologies. The most impressive results I got was with AL, using double pulse mode I have weld .075 14 gages plates in T using my system weld looked like tig weld.I have used the PM300 for stick it is very good, I was using 7018 1/8 very good result.I modified the machine to incorporate Connector on the front of the machine, so to used it for stick is much easier,you do not have to disconnect any thing with the exception of the control cable from the Python, the PM 300 is made to detect if there is a connection and prevent you to adjust the current.I have not try tig with this machine because I have a LincolnV205Tequipt with a Weldcraft  305 Crafter series water cool with a Lincoln cool mate 40. This machine is also very impressive.To do my cutting I am using a Thermaldynamic cut master 75.Happy welding with the Power Mig 300Michel
Reply:How is the tig arc started with the pm300 lift arc? or scratchi found a killer deal and need to move my pm200 so i can buy it. but am wondering if can tig or is it more of a selling point.
Reply:The tig arc is very nice.I used a button control for using the upslope,and post flow.It does have downslope,but it does have a pipe welding feature to lower the current by pushing the tungsten close to the work.You can get downslope with the footpedal.
