So my dad has been wanting a wagon to give clients and students rides around the nursery. And our idea went from building it all from scratch, to using an existing trailer and fabricating benches. To him buying bus seats and throwing them on a hay wagon. With a few welds here and there. The part I'm proud of is the steps on the wagon. Put alot of thought/fabrication/ and time into them. And I kicked it old school and welded most of the steps with a 1/8th 7018 on the longevity migweld 200s.Sent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk

Reply:Not bad. You might think about some sort of railing though..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
Reply:Nice work!
Reply:What's the weight rating on those hinges you used? Are they rated for larda$$ people? You may need to add more, or go larger in size to handle to unanticipated loads it may have to deal with at a future date. I second the handrail idea.
Reply:I had my dad walk over it and hes right around 350 so i think they're solid. They're barn door hinges I shortened. And about the railing, a combination of things. Not enough steel+added weight=no railingSent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk

Reply:Not the weight on the trailer the weight to lift it up and lock it down. The 6in channel on the frame is 1/4in and so is the square tubing. Everything else is 3/16Sent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk
Reply:Very nice! I agree though, a railing is standard safety equipment. One lawsuit and it's all over. Seen it happen a couple of times, and wouldn't wish it on anyone.Hemi-T"Ignorance can be fixed, but stupid is forever."Hobart BetaMig 2510Everlast PowerPro 256 TigMiller Radiator-1 Tig cooler
