Is there a trick for bringing back to life a flap disc? I have some 80 grit wheels that are not cutting well but there is lots of great sand paper in there about 1/16" of an inch back from the worn edge. I'll try to take a photo.
Reply:I have seen a "do not trim past this line" on some flap discs. I have often wondered what to trim them with and still keep them round. I also look forward to the replies.Syncrowave 210HH140Victor O/A
Reply:Turn it sideways with it running and trim it back on the edge of your bench grinder wheel while that is running as well.I hate being bi-polar it's awsomeMy Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys

Reply:If you take the wheel to the square cut edge of a piece of flat or angle you can accomplish the same thing. Works best on the plastic backed wheels such as Walther.
