According to the owners manual IM595-A, I need a 100 amp breaker to power this machine at 230 volt single phase with #4 wire.My question is: Where can I find a 100 amp cord end for this machine? All the standard welding cord ends are 50 amp.Can someone e-mail a link where I can order this 100 amp cord end, please...Send to [email protected].
Reply:4gu wire sounds a bit thin, i'd go with 1 or 2.Your local electrical supplier can order plugs for you.
Reply:Now that I think about it, 100Amp service should be hard wired, not plugged. If you wanted to plug you would need some serious cam-lock plugs.
Reply:100 amp plugs = $$$$$.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
Reply:I talked to an electrician at work, he said definatly hard wire it, into one of those single breaker panels...the ones where the breaker is a big black arm. |
