located gainesville flselling my miller thunderbolt 225 welder, asking $160. I'm it's original owner, and still have the original sales receipt for it, too (if you care). also have the original (printed) owners manual. works perfectly in all respects, can demo it here. prefer local sale/*might* deliver - inquire. price "not set in stone". not sure, but think the 'stinger lead' might not be shown in my site (using it with my other welder, at least temporarily). stinger lead CAN be or 'doesn't need to be' included, at your option. if you have a ground clamp and 'dislike the looks of mine' we can factor that into the swap-ratio, too :-) you can see my thunderbolt online in huge 1024 x 768 images starting here (then just keep clicking 'next'):http://machines.freehostia.com/nice_...s/photo19.htmlalso willing to swap the thunderbolt outright or 'in part' for parts I need for my old aircomatic dip-pak 200 mig, and/or for parts to its Bernard Q-200 gun. "short version" of parts I need for the dip-pak are FEED ROLLS, owners manual (paper -or- pdf), consumables for the Bernard, reel adapter (to hold big spools), and probably other stuff...also be interested in "an entire parts machine" if you have one laying around. probably best to see my dip-pak MIG site (where stuff I need for it'll all be listed, in detail)http://machines.2x.nu/dip-pak200_MIG_day1/dip-pak200_MIG_day1also might swap the thunderbolt for other stuff on my wants list (but more interest in dip-pak stuff, right now)http://machines.50webs.com/alpha/#wants_listthank you, guys Attached ImagesLast edited by dave_welder; 09-19-2009 at 11:39 AM.Reason: correct spelling, TRY to figure out why html 'tags' always show for smileys added in preview mode, and -if- they'll show in final version
Reply:figured I'd better stick a few tiny images of the spoolmatic 1 and spoolmate 200 setup here. the images on the site are *vastly* larger than these, and more plentiful, too. ok, thanks
Reply:spoolmate/spoolmatic welder above has been SOLD. miller thunderbolt welder IS still available, and I'll -still- trade it, up or down for stuff on my wants listOR for parts for my (extinct) airco dip-pak 200 MIG welderyou can see the thunderbolt welder here, then just click 'next' (above the image) about 40 times...the only caption, I think, is below the very first imagethanks guys dave
Reply:I have a VERY nice Airco Dip-Pak 200 purch in 1987 for my personal use. I now want to weld aluminum [car trlr, RV, etc] and have pretty much decided on a MM 350P to replace my Airco. Would you mind sharing some idea what my machine is worth? In answer to some of your posted questions, pics of my machine will give you a good idea what your machine looked like new. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks Bill
