i have a question i need help with. when going from different wire sizes such as, .025 to .035 do you only change the tip or also the wire lining? i ask because my welder is giving me a hard time welding with a .035 wire with the proper tip, and when we switch to .025 it works perfectly thanksvince
Reply:You sticking with solid wire and gas all the way or is the .035 flux core? One reason for asking is that flux core can act up occassionly. Another reason is that that machine probably isn't well suited for .035 solid anyway. Yeh I know it says .035 on the chart but--------------But, no, generally the .030/.035 liner works fine for .025. I wouldn't know if a .025 specific liner is usabale in the inverse tho.
