What would a SAM400 be worth? diesel engine not running they say it has a fuel problem, possibly pump. Here is the code & s/n. code:8340-M s/n 935657 thanks,quinq

Reply:It's still way to broad of a question. If my brother owned and maintained the machine and I knew it was well taken care of, I'd offer the fair market value of the machine less the estimated cost of repairs. If it was for sale by someone I didn't know or trust I'd assume the worse and wouldn't offer anything above the scrap metal price.I would't pay a thousand dollars for any welding machine that wasn't running.JTMcC.
