Reply:Nice start!My first one was fairly basic too, then modified a half dozen times to accommodate a tank (then a bigger tank), supplies and consumables, helmet storage, gun holder, etc etc. Just kept adding on. Got fairly elaborate. Eventually needed larger equipment, so I sold it.  2 year old Millermatic, I got almost full retail for it. Told they buyer he could have the cart if he paid my asking price. Good deal for both of us.Hobbyist - At what point is a "hobby" out-of-control?

Reply:Thats awesome!! And when you want to take it off road, you will have plenty of traction haahaha. Dont think turning is an issue since u can just easily lift up the back from the handle. Good work man, its satisfying finishing a project, especially your first.
Reply:I am in the process of building something which will sport some pneumatic wheels like those... however it will have steering as well (at least I am working on it, whether it is going to work or not... still don't know!).I think that you should be following these guys advice and modify it a bit: Add steering, rise the welder so you don't need to bend over all the time to adjust whatever and think about how to incorporate a gas bottle into it (you will probable want one sooner or later). Even if you ditch the welder and upgrade to solid core + gas, you could reuse the cart.Mikel

Reply:Thanks, it's really just to get it around. Not planning on storing things on it. Beats carrying it around. Just want to post it so if anyone wanted to see what a little welder cart looked like could modify or build one similar to mine. It works just as intended. Small, simple, keeps it off the ground and can go over different terrain.
