I have purchased my first auto darkening welding helmet.  I got it off Ebay and changed the batteries and started to use it.  worked great for a week.  I am now having an issue with it changing settings on it by it self, I can see the little green light changin while i am using it.  It is turbing off while I am welding and flashing me bad.  Has there been a batch of Knockoffs for these, or has there been anyone else having this issue? Anyone have any pointer with this helmet?  I am gonna change the batteries again tonight and give it a try.
Reply:Hold the power button for 30 seconds to reset it. Clean the sensors with a microfibre towel. I've had my speedy for years with no issues.
Reply:You got a used helmet and are having issues and asking about knock off's?
Reply:Thanx for the advice Tigmonster.  Changed the batteries and cleaned it.   Worked great for a while.  started having the same issues again.  I have contacted 3M, see what they have to say about it.
