I have a Ranger 225 I am selling if anyone is interested. I'm upgrading to a bigger machine. Which one does everyone suggest? The Miller Trailblazer or the 305g? Thanks, Matt
Reply:how much for the ranger? If you started out with a lincoln, you might always want to own a lincoln in the future... who knows.Look at the features of both and compare the two! see which welder offers the best features for your needs!VictorPraxairAir LiquideMillerLincoln Electric
Reply:I'm not really brand specific. I use Millers, MQs, Lincolns at work. The 225 Ranger I have now I haven't been very happy with.
Reply:And sorry. . . I'm open to offers. I paid $3600 new so I was gonna say $3000 ish but I'm not sure what it's worth. No offer will hurt my feelings.
Reply:I can't speak about lincoln's but I love the arc of my Trailblazer 301G. The three phase output makes me a better welder than I really am. I am pretty sure the 302 replaced the 301G. If you use both at work you should know which one you favor. Dan D.Manipulator Of Metal
Reply:Why not run the 225?
Reply:The new TB is the 325. The excel power is a good option as it only speeds the engine up if it has to. It has a better welding arc than the TB302 but I think for the welding end of it, the 305G still has the better arc and has a downhill pipe mode. For general welding they're both good. |
