Iv had this Speedglass 9002X for about 10 years and used it almost every day of the working week.It started flickering so I assumed it was the batteries. But when I put new batteries in it kept doing the same thing.Im not covering the sensors or anything. Is there a way to fix them or is it a case of R.I.P for this as it has done me well for 10 years?
Reply:why take a chance with your eyes? you got ten years out of it. reach in your pocket or have the bossman spring for a new one.i.u.o.e. # 15queens, ny and sunny fla
Reply:Take a chance with my eyes? Of course not. I didn't say I was still continuing to use it. Im using a Miller now. I just prefer the speedglas and was seeing if anyone knew anything before reaching into my pockets. Mite be something simple for all i knowAs for my boss buying me one... Im a contractor. Besides most bosses wouldn't fork out that much on their employees here in Australia
Reply:see if speedglass will repair or replace it..cost nothing to ask them...Of all the things I lost I miss my mind the most...I know just enough about everything to be dangerous......You cant cure stupid..only kill it...
Reply:Check if the sensors are covered in dirt.
Reply:While searching for parts for mine ,I checked their website, no longer Speedglass, and all they were doing was selling the entire lens assembly.........
Reply:I thought I had a speedglas going bad but realized that the yellow flashing lights on our forklifts were making mine flicker. |
