Looked at this gate today owner events it repaired asap

Reply:Its a wonder how people manage this sort of damage. Looks like I'll be bringing it home In the morning and taking what's salvageable.
Reply:Bring it home, lay on ground and drive on it. It's hard to tell if that is solid or steel tube. I think you maybe able to salvage some uprights.

Reply:Thanks 7a749. I'm treating it like a complete replacement job including cutting the existing gate out and making repairs to the entry posts Luckily the operator is intact. Just broke the chains and loosened it on its footing other than that its working. I'll be building by the gate out 100% just reusing the rollers, and the stars aside from that it will all be new metal. Too Mich hassle cleaning the old bits up. There is a ratty walk through gate up on the property I do intend to surprise them with by making use of the old gate materials.
Reply:I've done a couple of em. Not my favorite. But they do pay decent I think it will be fun
Reply:Not a great picture but I would think you could straighten it out. I use my Toyota to run over them while laying the gate in dirt. Some times you need to put boards under it to over bend. Once it gets close you use a hydralic jack and a chain to finish it out.
