I'm trying to hook up my Esab Mig-28A and st-23A wire feeder setup to my Lincoln Ranger 250. I am trying to determine which are the correct wires to plug the 28a wire feeder in on the six pin remote control plug on the Lincoln, if it's that simple. On the wire feeder end there is a ground(green), two 115v power lines(black and white) ,two control wires(red and orange), and one extra blue wire that is unused from the factory. Do the voltages produced by the switch wires on the wire feeder match the voltages read by the Lincoln? I don't want to fry any circuit boards, because they get 'spensive.
Reply:Contact Dea at.. Justarc.comI hooked the Mig 28a, and ST-23A up to a few different machine, but can't remember exactly how I did it.. I changed a few wires around in the Mig 28A to make my setup work.. It is possible to get it to work, so you are good there..Esab/Lorch ET-220iEsab 160i caddyThermal LM-200 Lincoln feedersThermal Pee-Wee 85sThermal 60i- 3phase /RPC powered (Beast)Thermal Drag-gun 35CINE 1500 Klutch 140i
