I have a large air compressor. 5HP 3 phase that I do not use. It is is perfect working condition and I want to trade it for a MIG machine. I think it is an 80 gallon tank, definately larger than the 60 gallon tank on the other compressor I have.It is a DeVilbiss brand and was rebuilt about two years ago by a guy up the street. He buys and rebuilds all kinds of equipment for a living. It is very quiet and works perfectly.I do not know the true value of this compressor since there is no blue book that covers it but I was told by an equipment dealer it is worth over 2K in its present condition. Not sure, just repeating what was said. I have about $1800 in work (traded) into it.I am looking for a TIG. Preferably something in the Miller Syncrowave 250 range.I am not picky and will go with other brands or smaller units but AC welding is a must.Basically welding aluminum is important to me. It is OK if it is thin aluminum, hopefully I can learn and upgrade later if needed.Prefer a single phase welder.Thanks for any interest. Attached Images
