Has anybody else seen any reviews on the Fronius Accupocket 150 Stick Welder? It is battery operated and just wondering if anyone has seen or can find any user reviews on it.
Reply:We use fronius transpocket 1500's almost exclusively in the power industry here for both MMA and Tig welding, the transpocket is designed for both stick and Tig.they are an expensive machine, and worth EVERY cent, they're smooth running, very energy efficient (will easily run off of a 10 am 240 volt circuit breaker here in Aus) , they have a good duty cycle at max output and are dead set reliable, i highly recommend them.
Reply:Have a read, the accupocket has some pretty good feature's as well, although I have to wonder how much welding you get out of a battery small enough to carry, with that said, it looks like an incredibly versatile and useful machine, like a battery powered angle grinder, to use for small jobs here and there, but it has the ability to run off of a generator or mains power as well.http://www.fronius.com/cps/rde/xbcr/...AccuPocket.pdfLast edited by ttoks; 04-16-2014 at 04:11 PM. |
