Wanted: Ornamental Pro drawing software

If anybody has an old copy of this they want to sell, I could really use it. $400 bucks is pretty steep for something i cant truthfully tell my boss we 'need'. Im in Baton Rouge, 225-436-1725
Reply:I have it and it is OK, not great but OK, but has serious limitations.  There are other programs that are cheaper and more functional.  look around some more before you buy.  Just my .02

Reply:Sorry Desert Rider, I lost my original sub to this thread in a lightning storm or I would have replied earlier.  I have OP 2004 and when I bought it my TM Cad and a couple of the other software sites were about equal to the OP at the time.  When I got the Op 2004 I felt it was limited in that it didnt do cut lists and keep track of the feet and had to have very clunky keying done to get filials on post tops added.  I was looking at a couple of others at the time and there seemed to be a free or low cost share program that was pretty good, but I dont remember the name right now, sorry.  But that was the root of my original reply, it was a lot of money for OP 2004 at the time, for an incomplete and difficult to operate program.  If it has improved in ease of operation and ability to add items from outside sources like Kings Archi, then it might be worth the effort, but I still believe the OP I got was over priced and too clunky to be of any real time saving value for what I was doing back then or now.  Sorry, 400.00 for a 100.00 program really left a bad taste in my mouth.  I was using the OP software for building gates with TM cut inserts for the local Horse Farm communities and did a bunch of em back in the early 2000's.  So that may account for my specific issues with cost versus usability.  I will ask my wife/bus partner what we ended up using the most, since she did most of the really cool gate designs and I built em.BobLast edited by Rbeckett; 11-28-2010 at 06:04 AM.I'm spending my Kids inheritance, I dont like him that much anyway!!!!!!Enuff tools to do the job, enough sense to use em.Anybody got a spare set of kidneys?  Trade?
