I have no room for those large chop saws I often see at home depot and do not plan on cutting anything large. So, I would like to turn my dewalt hand grinder into a chop saw that I can make precice square or angle cuts. Is there plans or a fixture that can hold my hand held grinder in place to make these cuts. I would imagine its footprint to be stored in my tiny closet. Thanks
Reply:I have seen, in years past, an advertisement for such a device. I do not recall having seen one lately. I do not think, if you find one, your cuts will be percise.I offer three choices: Good, Fast, & Cheap. Reply:With a little practice and a good wafer wheel you can make much more precise cuts free hand than with any jig to hold your grinder."The man of great wealth owes a peculiar obligation to the State, because he derives special advantages from the mere existence of government."
