pump needed

I am looking for a pump to use on a TIG cooling installation.  I have a tank and all the fittings, I just need a small pump.  Does anyone have a source for something that will work?  Thank you.
Reply:I don't have numbers for how much heat you need to take out of the torch for a given amperage.  Using numbers I have for heat exchanger water velocities, here's what I come up with:Hose size: 3/8"Water velocity: 5 fpsFlow Rate: 1.7 gpmI looked at submersible pumps, and they are rated for gph, so you would need something around 100 gph.  I would look to a pet supply store and get a fish tank pump.  Harbor Freight also sells something that is rated in that range.I hope this helps,Fegenbush

Reply:You can search on amazon,eBay, or any horticulture supply web site for a Mag Drive pump or off brand of mag drive. This site's a little expensive but here's a 250gph Mag Drive for $66. I've used the same one in my drip garden for the past 5 years running basically continuous when I actually have a crop in it. They are 120V, completely sealed, no oil inside, magnetic drive. A torch cooler isn't as critical in terms of contaminants as a garden, but you'll never have to worry about the pump leaking or running hot. And they make them in all different capacities, from around 50gph to a few thousand gph.
