Reply:It wouldn't do me much good I'm all thumbs with such things. Others might learn how though... You paint don't you ? That does make a difference. It looks like you made a template or masked it off with the letters & design cutout.. Then painted it ...Correct ? (just guessing)I do have a niece that's an art student though ...so fire away ...I might be able to replicate it for mine. Thanks..
Reply:1st i looked for text that i liked2nd i got some wax paper the length of the decal cut it to fit the printer and put to a 2 layers of blue painters tape with the 2nd layer over lapping at least 3/8 of an inch3rd print and let dry4th peel only one layer of painters tape with your decal on it and position it on the machine press or credit card smooth 5th cut out with x-acto or razor 6th remove the cut out pieces 7th paint and let dry if not it will look like mine with fuzzy edges lol on some spotsLincoln Power Arc 4000 Thermal Arc Fabricator 252 iThermal arc 186Thermal Arc 26 tigTweeko 200 amp spool gunHobart AirForce 400WP-17V-12R
Reply:the strip and the torch tip was also masked and free drawn and cut if using more than one color you need to paint in layers (paint let dry re-mask cut out new section and paint again ) repeat as many times as neededand no im no painter nor anyone that in in arts classes but i wish i didLincoln Power Arc 4000 Thermal Arc Fabricator 252 iThermal arc 186Thermal Arc 26 tigTweeko 200 amp spool gunHobart AirForce 400WP-17V-12R
Reply:I was close... .. I started to buy decals on ebay... found several with ARC in them and more with POWER something on them..was going to cut them apart and combine two separate decals... but at $20+ to do it ..I figured I'd buy a Tig torch instead...LOLI might try your method.. I'll post pics if I do..
Reply:If you're happy with it, then that's all that matters.I don't think I would have bothered on that machine.  <---Keep in mind that's coming from a guy that stripped down, repainted, repowered, and rebuilt a bobcat skid loader, but won't spend the $100 on new decals for it.My name's not Jim....

Reply:If you want to go the decal route, there are decal papers you can run thru an ink jet printer that work nicely. Should be able to get them at any well stocked hobby store - or at least ones that deal in model trains and RC cars and planes.
