I applied for a Collision Repair Educational Foundation grant and this is the video I had to make to go with the application. It shows some of the welding and fabrication we do, along with a few pictures with paint. I am asking for some new welding and fabrication equipment as part of the grant.
Reply:Im glad to see kids interested in learning this type of trade. I hope the program goes well and continue to grow!
Reply:There are still a lot of kids who want to learn and to do quality work. I always say say the bad kids are worse than ever, but the good kids are still as good as they have ever been. The good kids make up for the bad ones.
Reply:Looks good man! I'm 19 and went through a pipe welding school. Once you get in the field if you work hard you will make it, seeing as our generation is considered lazy and stupid, just being a hard worker in the field will gain you a lot of respect from the masters of the trade. Learn everything you possibly can from the school you are going too, it's something that's hard to figure out while you are in school, but I honestly wish I would had asked more question's about fitting while I was in welding school, because believe it or not you need to know quite about bit about fitting to be a good welder. Anyway I hope everything works out good with your school!
Reply:Awesome, I'm thrilled to see a program like this in existence and to boot.... a successful program. Love that Mustang Cooler!!! I like how it's used in the cafeteria where the kids' peers can see it.
