Reply:Is that a V8 triton badge or a powerstroke badge on the front fender
Reply:Where are you located at? Not a bad price if its a powerstroke would be a good work truck.Vantage 300 kubota ,miller 304 xmt ,lincoln ln 25 pro , ranger 305 G, plenty of other tools of the trade to make the sparks fly.
Reply:It's the triton V-8 5.4L. I'm located in Boulder Co. Thanks for looking
Reply:the 5.4 trition it has in it i have in my truck it is an excelent engine i have about 150k miles on mine. ive had no problems with any part of mine.
Reply:I'd much rather have the Triton. They last a long time, parts support is excellent, and the only fairly common problem is spark plug thread failure which can be repaired in the truck.Powerstrokes are swell until they break and destroy your wallet. Example, my friend with under 200K on his spend over seven thousand bucks (love those variable geometry turbos when they die!) on turbos and other parts. If someone GAVE me a Powerstroke truck I'd sell it instantly.

Reply:I'll agree on the 7.3's, but the 6.4 is a dog. I truely regret spending all the extra cash on the 6.4 just to get the milage of the V10, not to mention all the issues I've had. My '00 7.3 has had almost 0 issues with the exception of the crank sensor..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear.
