MIG gun on stick machine?

First post and all.. I have a stupid question and I figured this is the place to ask.. I'm currently selling my miller maxstar 150 STH welder, I got a random question from a guy interested in it.. He asked if he used a Miller SGA100 and 3035 spoolgun would it work? I told him I dont know, but got me thinking... Maybe???

Reply:It can work, just not very good. I used a 400 amp stick machine with a suitcase inside a kiln fan once doing buildup work. Flux cored wire,,,, so not quite the same as MIG,,,,,TOOLS AND TOYSSMAW Mid States Inc. Reply:I've never taken a welding class in my life,  my father taught me stick welding basics a few years back and gave me the maxstar, the maxstar Is for sale since I was given a multimatic 200.. didn't think it would be a flamefest for posting.. I am however signed up For class this summer to learn tig..
