outside of the auto tank drain, what are my options as far as filters and treatment pre-plasma?Thanks
Reply:Best is a refrigerated dryer with a coalescing (oil removal) filter, an auto moisture drain, and a particulate filter.Just as good is a self regenerating dessicant dryer......with a coalescing filter and an auto moisture drain and a particulate filter.The above units should be plumbed according to manufacturers specs. These solutions are fairly expensive, but are the best performing and generally the lowest maintenance and lowest long term operating cost.If you on a tight budget.....a good quality absorbing filter. Check and replace the element often when saturated with moisture. Make sure the compressor tank drains on each cycle and the filter replacement will need to occur less often.Jim Colt Hypertherm |
