My $10 diamond wheel tungsten grinder

Reply:Jon, have you tried it without the drill? I recently got a diamond wheel for one of my bench grinders, and with one slow twist from a blunt end they come out like a smoothe razor tip in half the time with less effort. Reply:I use a cheap 6" HFT bench grinder with aluminum diamond-grit cabbing wheels off ebay. The left-hand wheel is the one that comes with the HFT grinder (I find that if you keep moving the tungsten around on the wheel, you won't get grooves in the wheel; you can also grind the tungsten at 90° to this wheel, since you will remove the grinding marks when you go to the diamond wheels) and on the right-hand side of the grinder are two aluminum cabbing wheels (bought from rocklady on ebay) in two different grits. I got this idea from SundownIII here. Works great.
