here's a gate i just finished,all the horizontals are punched w 11/16 square holes to accomodate the 5/8 pickets,small back welds so there are no visible welds. Attached Imagesface all times with a positive mental attitude,then and only then will you have done your best.

Reply:the cane pole in place of a latch, this way it can be pegged open. the hinges are simple 1/2 barrels w/a 6"x5/8 rod welded to one side and epoxied into a concrete filled block wallface all times with a positive mental attitude,then and only then will you have done your best.

Reply:i used a harbor freight roller with a frame i modified, and i took 1/2 groove rollers zand machined themk out to about 1 9/16+ .it works ok..face all times with a positive mental attitude,then and only then will you have done your best.

Reply:i buy the rings from an ornamental supply company.they are 1/2" square bar stock, the pickets are 5/8. the big companies have machines and folk that spit those things out by the thousands, i think they only cost me a buck or so each.'face all times with a positive mental attitude,then and only then will you have done your best. |
