Two simple projects: First is for Olympic bar storage. Slide the bar in the pipe keeps the floor clean. Second is for dips. Kind of cool it slips on to the rack and is held in place with a pin.Dave ReberWadsworth Ohio
Reply:Very cool! The bar storage rack is a excellent idea!!! How does that dip station seem to work out so far? I know the picture could be misleading but it seems to have too short of dip "handles." Seems like if a larger sized adult comes downward on the bars, his face would run into the adjustment post, no? What thickness is the adjustment post? At the very bottom of the last picture, it looks as if the adjustment post is tapered down to a smaller post. Im just wondering if it's strong and stable enough to handle a large framed person?Otherwise, very very cool!!!! Reply:Dip Station works great. I think the handles are 17" long. When I do dips on it my chin touches the rectangular tube holding the handles. Is what you are calling the "adjustment post" the horizontal piece with the holes holding the dipper? If yes we call it "The rig or rack" hitting it is not an issue. The rig or rack is 2x3 rectangular tube 1/8 wall. There is no taper in the rig.The dip station is 1/8 and 3/16 steel. It is plenty strong to hold some fleshy people!!Dave ReberWadsworth Ohio
