Reply:I would say... with that face shield and the proper protection on your head and neck, those would be awesome... because they would completely eliminate glare, just like a pancake hood.

Reply:I could have used that today. Stuffed my head into a 5th wheel trailer where the lp tanks were. (They had to be removed.) Then I stuffed my eyes against a wall inside (as close as possible with my back-up hood, because my Speedglas broke this morning at the headband, parts are on order). Then with a bent rod, I had to weld blind between a bracket and the wall to hold the right landing gear. It had to be finished today for the customer, and I was down to my last few rods. Reply:When it gets too tight I use this.This type of mask is very popular here especially for welders that do boiler work, personally I do not like them since it presses on your nose and fogs up the moment you breathe through your mouth.I have even seen a few modified with an ADF.These goggles with the mask look really interesting though.
