Just got this torch used in great condition for $130.00 delivered. A Smith DG935B, 36" with a 75* head. It's now the big brother to my other one that looks the same but is only 21". And it came with a Smith tip number SC56-7. Thats, good for cutting 8" - 14"! I doubt I will be needing that. Attached Images"Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! I sent him over to snag that MIC-4 while tbone wasn't looking!" - duaneb55"I have bought a few of Tbone's things unlike Stick-Man who helps himself" - TozziWelding"Stick-man"
Reply:I know you Pm'd and offered a few of us that tip if one of us had a Smith torch. Don't worry about the tip not fitting what Tbone has. He'll simply use it on the new 36" Smith torch he's going to get from you..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:You will love it, same as my 21" Smith.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."

Reply:Originally Posted by tbone550Ha, DSW, he emailed you and asked if you wanted the TIP? He emailed me and asked me if I wanted the TORCH!!! At least that's what I remember. However, I already have a few Smith torches, and never really wanted one longer than my SC229.  As a matter of fact, whenever my work slows down enough for me to remember while I'm still out in the shop, I'm pulling my WH200/SC209 off of the truck and replacing it with the WH100/MC509.  I really wish Smith made a one-piece cutting torch with the medium-duty head on it - I'd buy one of those brand new.  These danged big torches with their long tips just don't fit in tight spaces that well.  As a secondary gripe, I'm also not really a fan of how short the WH200 handle is, either.  It needs to be longer, IMO.  I bought an old SW2 handle (about an inch longer and 1/8" smaller in dia) off ebay to try in place of the WH200, but haven't leak-checked it yet.So in summary, Stick-Man, why don't you keep my torch for now?  After all, you've got so much of my other stuff.  Think of it as a temporary gift.

Reply:Nice Demolition Torch!  It makes my torch look small...I think I'm going to go and have a good cry! (in the corner.)
Reply:I wanted it for mainly using a propane rosebud tip. The 21" gets aweful hot at the cool end. But also because we have to trim the top of the bottom plates at our indoor gun range. Well not the cieling plates but the angled, way up in the crack. And this torch will make that alot easier. And, it's bigger than tbone550's torches!!!"Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! Reply:Be sure to keep a Smith stamped tip in case you need to send it in for warranty. And if anyone asks at warranty time, yes, you are the original owner......wink,wink
