Anyone here have experience welding it? If you do I'm all ears.
Reply:gyrfalcon, where are you located? There is a company in Albany,Oregon (Wah Chang Albany I believe) that could probably provide some insight. They hold training sessions from time to time for various things that might even fall under Hafnium welding. Timet might be another source that you could make an inquiry to. Good luck and regards, Allanaevald
Reply:I need to ask about the application, simply because there really isn't anything done with hafnium that isn't quite interesting.

Reply:That's such a cool name for an element. Do they cover welding Adamantium and Unobtanium too. A reference about Hafnium http://www.webelements.com/hafnium/For the NON geeky. Adamantium is what Wolverine's claws are made of, Unobtainium is the element they were mining in the Avatar. Oh, found a place that welds Unobtainium http://www.higherarcing.orgLast edited by soutthpaw; 10-23-2015 at 09:50 AM.Tiger Sales: AHP Distributor www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P, Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma.
