Reply:I had a hobart of simular vintage. It had a hecules 4cy flathead. Like all the motor genarators it had a sweet arc & aux power was dc. Oh it was really heavy it was also on a trailer with no trailer brakes it pushed me thru a few stop sings
Reply:I'm aquainted with a man that runs a old Hobart like that. He loves his. I don't know a thing about them but that is one cool looking machine. I'd love to have it sitting in the middle of the living room just to look at but I doubt the wife would go for that!
