Reply:I love the idea of black pipe, but the fittings are not cheap here. I would spend a tenth the cost if I was doing it out of mild steel. Reply:Check this table I just built for a guy. It is made from a grapple to pick up hay bales. It was his idea, I just welded it up and put braces in the ends to stiffen it up. He put a large slab of mesquite on the top. Every one that came into the shop called it the spider table. Attached Images
Reply:Looks cool.  And they probably way overpaid for it.  I think I saw shelves like that made from black pipe in restoration hardware for a silly amount of money.
