Hi all,I have a wire feed problem with my 170.So I blew air down the hose like the manual states, lots of dust came out. but then the wire started binding. So I tried blowing air the other way and that stopped it from binding, but still has feed problmes.I tried tightening the little wingnut on the wire feed but not much help.So I figured I would pull out the liner.Under the rubber protecter there appears to be 2 brass connectors that need to be unscrewed. ( I bought the unit used so I never saw how it's conencted) I put a couple of wrenches on it and either it has seized over time or Meguilla gorilla did the tightening. I tried some liquid wrench but hasn't worked yet.So 2 questiotions. Ay way to remove the second brass connector or anythign that could loosen the connector? And tough the manual says to remove the connector to remove the liner, can I remove it from the gun end and push it back in after I've cleaned it?Thanks |
