Piddling with the tongue stand for a wood splitter. Took the plug out of the tubing and was sort of impressed with the fact that it was fairly thick and rugged and fit snug. A lot of caps and plugs are so thin and flimsy they won't stay in or won't stand up to any bumping and thumping. This one seemed better than the average. Heck it's been on that wood splitter for about 5 or 6 years borrowed by every body and their friends and always out in the weather. Not my splitter BTW. On a Negative note, this 24 inch closed end tube had at least a full cup or more of brackish water in it. It was one of those that had a pad on the bottom this cap on top and only rolled up to transport and down to park. No screw adjustment and no drain hole. Decent cap tho.http://www.caplugs.com/productdetail...mno=CCF+SERIES Attached Images"The things that will destroy America are prosperity at any price, peace at any price, safety first instead of duty first, the love of soft living and the get rich quick theory of life." -Theodore Roosevelt |
