My local Home Depot has five of these on clearance for $547.00 (each). Has anyone used one, does it look like a good first machine? Here's a link to it at Northern tool, they are selling for around $900-$1000 most everywherehttp://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...4920_200434920Miller Challenger 172Miller Thunderbolt AC/DC 225/150Miller Maxstar 150 STLVictor 100CVictor JourneymanOxweld OAHarris O/ASmith O/A little torchNo, that's not my car.
Reply:That would be a good unit for cutting thin material like duct work or thin gauge sheet metal. At only 20 amps output, it is not a powerfull unit. One nice thing about that unit is is uses very little air.Canadian Tire has that plasma for sale in Canada for aroung $1000JasonLincoln Idealarc 250 stick/tigThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 52Miller Bobcat 250Torchmate CNC tableThermal Arc Hefty 2Ironworkers Local 720 |
