Anybody out there know anything about the little 110V Hobby Arc Welder?
Reply:Just my $0.02,Over the years you can waste a lot of money trying to buy a welder for nothing.  None of these gimmick welders are much good for anything heavy enough to be useful.Gordie -- "I believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant."
Reply:As Nitesky said!If you plan on using the welder for anything above welding a small bracket onto something, I would consider looking at buying something like a Lincoln Tombstone or some other equivalent welder as long as you are electrically setup for it!#1. Reply:I was just wondering if it would be for the occasional small odd job. I have just purchased a Lincoln mig 220v unit but that is kind of hard to drag out in the driveway to do a 5 minute fix. Maybe I will just try to find a small inverter unit so I can stick weld some. I have my eye on a nice used buzz box on Craigslist local to me, just was think about a small 110v unit to have.
